Happy 17th Birthday, Maisie Williams!! <3
I was just browsing the Westeros.org forum and came across this topic, that pretty much confirmed my thoughts concerning Gendry and Season 4:
One day, he’s an orphan. The other, he’s the son of a king. From being a smith’s apprentice to becoming the heir to the Seven Kingdoms, only the Seven know what lies in between, especially when a certain little lady proves to be a huge pain in the arse… - AU in which Robert survives the boar, learns about Cersei’s treason and asks Ned to bring Gendry to him.
Chapter “Farewell” excerpt:
"Are you not sad?"
"Why would I be sad?"
"You’re going to be away from Prince Gendry for so long!"
"He’s your betrothed, Arya! Won’t you miss him?"
Arya stopped placing her folded clothes in the travel chest and looked at Sansa. She realized Sansa wouldn’t stop going on about it, so she decided to give her sister the answer she obviously wanted to hear.
Why does she have to be so romantic?
"Yes, I will," she said nonchalantly as her eyes went back to her travel chest.

I know, I know, people have already pointed it out on the reblogs. The thing is: I’m not a native speaker, and I had seen other people referring to it as a cartwheel, so I just believed it. Sorry, my bad.
